When will the customiser be updated?
Unfortunately, we have no control over updating the customiser, we can just simply add textures, not new categories or functionality. As 1.5 made such sweeping changes as to how texture packs are handled by Minecraft, it may take some time for customiser to be properly updated to support it, in the meantime, you may want to manually update your custom packs by inserting the textures yourself.
